ATTACK Glossary


An attack is used in combat to inflict a negative Effect on an enemy. Often this involves trying to strike an opponent to deal damage on the enemy, but can include any number of different Effects.

In order to perform an attack, a character must use one of the following actions:

To resolve an attack, a character must use one of the following skills to overcome the target's Defense resistance:

To determine the outcome of an attack, a character must roll the Effect of the attack against the target's appropriate Resistance to see if the attack harms or otherwise negatively impacts the target.

Characters using an attack with a Perception Range need to make an attack roll.

Your attack modifier is limited by your game's power level. The total of a particular attack's attack modifier plus the Effect modifier for that attack cannot exceed 2x the campaign's power level.
